Roll Over! Roll Over!

William is now four months old and he can roll over! Well when he feels like it. He is also starting to laugh an he talks non stop. I'm hoping to talk to the doctor about starting him on food! I've even given him some rice cereal with apples and he liked it! This has been so much fun! I love my little guy!!!

So excited, yet so sad!

We're moving! And I cannot wait. I hate our apartment. When we walk in it smells like smoke and then we'll randomly smell it really really strong throughout the day! All I can think about is William having to inhale this second hand smoke all the time. Thank goodness my wonderful husband put our names on the list for housing from the mine. They have contractors working on a brick three bed one bath house that will be cheaper than this cancer causing hell hole! The only sad thing is leaving my friends and ward! I've become so attached to the people in my ward and my visiting teaching partner that i don't want to leave them at all! Not to mention our bishop is so great to Nathaniel and me. So pretty much I'm ecstatic to leave but depressed at the same time!

Finally a new post!

So its been a while and I decided what better to write about than William? Nothing! He is getting so big and he is cuter every day when I wake up. He is now three months old and I'm guessing thirteen lbs since we have to wear size two diapers. He is sleeping better at night and staying up more during the day and he is crazy ticklish! Anyway he is too adorable and he loves being in the kitchen with me. How cute is that? The little brat is trying so hard to sit up on his own and gets so frustrated that he can't. Then when I do almost sit him up (you know so he can sit up on his own just not from his back) he face plants. It's adorable and I love it! Here are some new pictures of him!

An Amazing Weekend!

This weekend was awesome! Nathaniel took some PTO on Friday and spent all day with me and William. We played a lot of Call of Duty and went to Denny's for breakfast to see Liz. Nathaniel put our truck up for sale and got a call maybe thirty minutes later from a guy who wanted to buy it! That night i took William to the bowling alley to hang out with some old school friends. He was amazing with all that noise around him and was awesome with interacting with the "strangers". We came home had a surprisingly good night(he slept all night except for when he wanted to eat!). We woke up early Saturday morning and Nathaniel met with the man who wanted to buy the truck(we hope he will have all the money tomorrow) then we headed out of town. On our way to Mesa we had three more calls about the truck!!!! Unfortunately no one could match the 3500 the other guy was paying. Once in Mesa we got lost looking for Chris's(?) apartment. that was an adventure! But we found it finally and he took us to the mall. I was in culture shock!!!!! The mall and a Gucci and Michael Kors! It was crazy! After the mall we went to Red Lobster which the food was good but it killed me paying that much for it! Then we went to Golfland. Now that crazy fun. Chris and I totally suck at miniature golf! William went with us of course and loved the warm night air. That night we drove back so we could be rested for Sunday. We woke up today and spent sometime just hanging out while William slept in. We got ready for church and had an amazing day there. Church gets out at four we hurried home changed clothes I made little smokies and he made a dip(Hormel Chili, Jalapeno Re-fried Beans, and Queso) and we went over to Jenika's and watched the Steelers game! Of course our team won(they scared me for a little bit) and are headed to the Superbowl baby!!! William was so cute supporting our team and staring at the TV. We came home, got William to sleep and had an awesome night!

Dinner and Dancing

So tonight for dinner I had no idea what to make. I looked in the freezer and saw some shrimp scampi and figured it would be easy to make. I started cooking and William started crying so I picked up and started dancing with him. I had Michael Buble on so of course the tunes were good. He was so cute wile we were dancing and making dinner. He wouldn't stop smiling then he cuddled with me and almost fell asleep. This was definitely one of the highlights of being a mom!

William

These are some of my favorite pictures of William! He was born Nov. 1 at 3:15 am. He weighed 5lbs. 11 oz. and was 17 1/2 in. He was born two weeks early but was in perfect condition. The labor was great because i got an epidural and didn't feel a thing! We were at the hospital for about six hours and once I started pushing i had him in about ten minutes. Both my mom and Nathaniel's mom were able to be there for the birth. This was great and I can't say that I would have had it any other way! So far life is good and I'm loving being a mom!

About us

Nathaniel and I met in high school. He was a year older than me and we were in choir together for three years until he graduated. He was one of the two people who accepted me in show choir my sophomore year. He became my best friend that year. He graduated in '06 and we lost track of each other. In which time he joined the United States Marines Cops. and I went to school at Northern Arizona University. Well after some heartache on both of our parts we started to talk to each other again the summer of '09. We dated on and off since July 2009 until March 2010 when we made it official. We were married on June 10 2010 in Safford AZ. It was a rough start but we managed to get by and welcomed the birth of our son William Nicholas Henrie on November 1 2010 at 3:15 am. So far the ride has been amazing and I only hope it gets better!
